This policy explains how Biofires Ireland Limited handles the personal information we receive when you buy from us on Amazon or eBay. It adds to our Privacy and Cookie Policy, which covers orders placed on this website.

Who we are

Biofires Ireland Limited, Warrenpoint. For any question about your personal information, contact us at info@bioethanolfires.ie

What we collect

When you place an order with us on Amazon or eBay and we ship it ourselves, we receive from the marketplace:

  • the order number, the items ordered and the order total
  • the recipient's name and delivery address
  • the recipient's phone number, so our courier can contact you about the delivery

We do not receive or ask for your email address or payment details. Payment is handled entirely by Amazon or eBay.

Where it comes from

We receive this information only directly from Amazon or eBay, through their secure seller systems, for orders placed with our own seller account. We do not get it from any other source.

How we use it

We use it only to dispatch and deliver your order: to create the shipment and shipping label with our courier, and to send the tracking number back to Amazon or eBay so you can follow your delivery.

We never use it for marketing, never sell it, and never combine it with other information to build a profile of you.

Who we share it with

We share your name, delivery address and phone number only with DPD Ireland, our courier, to deliver your order. It is sent to them over an encrypted connection and they use it only for that delivery. We do not share it with anyone else.

How we keep it safe

  • It is stored on secure servers in the European region of Amazon Web Services, and is encrypted while stored and whenever it is sent.
  • Only the staff who dispatch orders can see it, each using their own password-protected login.
  • It is never downloaded, exported or copied to personal devices.

How long we keep it

Your name, address and phone number are deleted automatically 30 days after your order is shipped or cancelled. We keep only the order number, the items, and the tracking number, which we need for our accounts.

Your rights

Under data protection law (GDPR), you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Contact us at [email address]. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at www.dataprotection.ie.

Changes to this policy

We review this policy every year and whenever the way we handle marketplace orders changes.
